Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Cape Town Telegraph website or any of our digital services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. We offer a 14-day refund policy for first-time subscribers. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Intellectual Property

All content published by Cape Town Telegraph, including articles, images, graphics and data, is protected by copyright and owned by or licensed to National Media & News Group (PTY) Ltd. You may not reproduce, republish or redistribute content without written permission. Personal, non-commercial sharing of article links is permitted.

User Conduct

You agree not to: post defamatory, abusive or illegal comments; impersonate other users or public figures; attempt to access restricted areas of our system; scrape or harvest content using automated tools; use our services for commercial purposes without written permission.

Comments & Community

Comments are the responsibility of their authors. We reserve the right to remove any comment that violates our community standards without notice. Persistent abuse may result in account suspension. We moderate comments in line with the SA Press Council guidance on accuracy and harm.

Limitation of Liability

Cape Town Telegraph provides its journalism in good faith. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all content is free of error. We exclude liability for any loss arising from reliance on content published on our site to the maximum extent permitted by South African law.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
